HHC at Home Immersion Program

This program nurtures newly graduated nurses and provides the tools to gain the confidence and clinical skills needed for work in home health nursing.

Hartford HealthCare at Home views this as an opportunity to mentor and support new nurses in a community health setting, prepare our workforce for changes in the healthcare environment with the goal to keep patients out of the hospital and living safely at home as long as possible.

Hartford HealthCare at Home is committed to the development of our future nurses.

The Immersion Program is a progressive experiential learning program designed to develop community-based homecare nurses. Our Immersion nurses will be part of a collaborative care
management team. As an Immersion nurse, one of your greatest rewards will come from your patients, who are our first priority.

This five-month Immersion Program will nurture you as a new nurse and give you the tools to succeed. The program offers:

  • Full-time benefit eligible positions with paid time off
  • Be part of a cohort of four to five new graduates
  • Work side-by-side with one of our Clinical Development Specialists as part of the team

We are always looking for Immersion nurses with the following qualifications:

  • New or recent graduates (less than two years in the field)
  • RN (Associate or Bachelor’s Prepared)
